Hamed Mohammadbagherpoor earned his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NC State University, where he explored emerging technologies. Today, as IBM Quantum’s Application Lead, he bridges the gap between cutting-edge research and practical applications. Passionate about quantum computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, Hamed collaborates closely with GSIs (Global System Integrators) and ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) to unleash the potential of quantum technologies in real-world scenarios. Additionally, in his role as an adjunct professor at NC State University, he mentors aspiring minds while advancing the frontiers of quantum computing.
